The new restaurant produces food locally sourced, organic and fresh ingredients wherever possible, which promotes our sustainability ethos.  The wholesome menus are based around real food, non-processed and free from additives. The dishes are bright, healthy and clean and bring a vibrant distinctive flavour to Bruton. 

Opening hours  11am – 2pm and 6pm – 9pm on Thursdays.  Friday from 9am until 9pm. Saturday 12noon – 3pm. Sundays Big Brunch 11am – 2pm (from 12 May).
For large private bookings any day or evening can be booked for use of the whole venue.


Annie’s flavours are unique, her food and presentation vibrant, attention to detail immaculate and her clients are very important and receive the best possible service from her well-trained staff.

Annie is highly reputed for fresh clean ideas and has featured in Foodlover Magazine and The Daily Mail.
Annie des Forges trained at Ewert Place School of Cookery, Oxford 1988, who then went on to set her own outside catering business in 2004 after leaving London as a PA and working two ski seasons in Verbier, Switzerland as a Private Chef. 
Soon after became ‘resident’ chef for the High Sheriff of Herefordshire and The Bishop of Hereford as well as many other significant figures and VIP clients. Annie also studied her Wine Diploma at WSET in London.
The Bruton Table and The ZA Bar opened on Friday 1 March 2019. Focusing on clean eat brunches, amuse bouche, theme evenings with private party bookings and bespoke menus available.
